A memorial service for Dorla Jean Tolson Briggs, 65, of Woodland, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Johns Church, 434 Cleveland St., Woodland.
Mrs. Tolson Briggs passed away Jan. 4, 2007, in Woodland Hospital from Lou Gehrig's Disease.
She was born Aug. 16, 1941, in St. Paul, Minn., and resided in Woodland for 20 years. She worked for Amos & Andrews Plumbing, retiring after 20 years. She was a member of the Hillcrest Quilters.
Mrs. Tolson Briggs is survived by her husband of 23 years, William Briggs; daughter, Deborah Armstrong; stepdaughter, Sara Briggs; sons, Steven Tolson; sisters, Norma Bargstadt and Paula Mohorich; brother, Robert Halsall; five grandchildren, Ashley Armstrong, Joseph David, John Tolson, Brittany Tolson and Kody Tolson.
