I became acquainted with Loni through church, but only got the chance of hanging out with her once. That time spent with her is special to me, because she spoke some words into my life that were very encouraging at the time; I had just experienced some trying issues in my personal life, and was also felt spiritually desolate. After hanging out her, I left with a renewed hope and revelation of God grace towards me and my situation.

I knew Loni only a very short time at GBG, but do remember her fondly. She was kind, full of life and had a sparkle in her eye. She was a great friend and loved by many. But more than anything, she reflected the love and goodness of Jesus Christ. I know that she will be missed here on earth, but all of us will be happy to see her again forever in heaven.

We can only smile because of the confidence we have in Him, that where He is, she may be also. I didn't know Loni but I will. May our Lord bless and comfort her loved ones on this side of heaven and may they share her peace.

Loni,
Lots of love for you, you knew you were my favorite :)

Your spirit and love for praising Jesus always was a blessing to me. I am so happy to have been blessed enough to get to know you and the Lords light that was reflected in you.

God Bless you, your family, and friends.

In 1998, when Loni was in her teens, she came down with Susanne and Jeff to her grandmother's Spiritual Weekend Retreat in San Diego County. They were providing the worship music for the gathering. At the time, I was deeply broken and had recently relocated to Southern California with my two children after a very painful and devastating family crisis. I was searching for inner health and spiritual healing and Loni sang a song called 'On my Knees' by Jackie Valasquez. I cannot begin to express the lasting affects this moment has had on me. I later bought the CD and played it over and over again for years to come... Since then, I have been on my knees many times. I am better now and stronger too. Loni and I both knew that there would be days when we would fall short, make mistakes or get lost, but all we needed to do is get back on our knees... It works everytime! Once again, I can hear the sound of Loni's voice as she sings "... I get on my knees, I get on my knees..." Love you Loni Sue, Aunt Wendy

Sweet Loni, for your very young years you shared such great wisdom and I can only imagine how the angels rejoiced when they saw you coming. You have been a blessing to so many and even though we will miss you terribly, you will be remembered by all as a strong woman of God who shared light wherever you went. We are all better and blessed for having known you.
