Paul M. Smith Sr., age 36, was suddenly returned home to his Heavenly Father on April 23, 2016. Paul was born in Modesto, CA on September 4, 1979 to Anndrea Horton and Bruce M. Smith Jr. Both parents of Modesto, CA.

At the age of 13 the family moved to Cedar City, UT for 5 years where Paul excelled in sports and school. He played baseball and took gold in wrestling. He graduated from Cedar City High School before moving to warm sunny St. George, UT. Paul is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. As an adult he has 3 beautiful children that were the pride and joy of his life and being; Sylicia Smith (17 yrs. old), Paul Smith Jr. (3 yrs. Old) and Jace Smith (18 Months Old). He was very involved in his children's lives. One of his favorite things to do was watch his daughter play softball, he attended every game he could get to. Paul attended HVAC school to better his career and the lives of him and his children. He worked full time, went to school full time and was able to graduate HVAC school with High Honors. As he worked as a HVAC technician, he had plans to return to school to continue his journey in becoming an HVAC contractor.

In addition to his children Paul is also survived by his mother, Anndrea Horton; father, Bruce Smith (Ada); sisters, Kimber Shannon (Broby), Pamela Page (Don); 4 nieces, 5 nephews and 1 great-nephew; and numerous aunts and uncles. He was loved so much by many other people as well.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bloomington Hills 6th Ward Chapel, 750 Fort Pierce Dr., St. George, UT.
