Funeral services for William "Randy" Sweat will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015 in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville with the Reverend Joey Rudisill officiating. Interment will be at Drakes Fork Cemetery in Cravens, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home in Pineville, Louisiana

Mr. Sweat, age 55, of Tioga, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at his residence in Pineville, Louisiana.

Randy was a member of Wilda Baptist Church, Cotile. He was an avid fisherman and a huge Nascar and sports fan. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids. Randy worked for many years on the road as an outside salesperson selling millwork. He never met a stranger and always had a story with a sense of humor. He was a very kind person, loved animals, always practicing catch and release.

He is preceded in death by his father, James William Sweat.

He is survived by his loving wife of 17 years, Janet Sweat of Tioga; his mother, Carmen Sweat of Alexandria; one son, James Sweat and wife Courtney of Alexandria; two brothers, Steven Earl Sweat of Alexandria and Charles Sweat of Alexandria; three grandchildren, Kesslyn Sweat, Reagan Sweat and Payton Sweat.

Friends may visit with the family at Rush Funeral Home in Pineville on Friday, March 20, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and again on Saturday March, 21, 2015 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
