GARRETT, Rondall Reed "Red," 83, of Glen Allen, Va., departed this life October 20, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, June Lacy Garrett; two sons, Rondall Reed Garrett Jr. (Wanda) and Howard C. Garrett; six grandchildren, Bridgett Ward (Jesse), Rachel McCants (Matthew), Christopher Garrett (Jennifer), and Heather, Kristen and Whitney Garrett; eight great-grandchildren, Taylor, Kate and Jack Ward, Zachary and Gabriel McCants and Julia, Emily and Sarah Garrett. Red was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather, and will be missed by all of those whose lives he touched. Red was General Manager for Dominion Chevrolet, where he retired after 35 years of service. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday (Today) at Bliley's - Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Road. A graveside service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday at Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mount Vernon Baptist Church Building Fund.
