Steve, Anne, and Mrs. Lavy,
I am so sorry to hear about your loss. I always enjoyed my interactions with Mr. Lavy - very funny and kind.
Steve - you and I have known each other for almost 30 years. As you may know, I lost my dad just a year ago. It's definitely a challenging thing to go through, but in time, I hope this loss will be easier for you to deal with and you will remember the good times you had with your dad - believe it or not, those memories will make you smile. Call me if you think it might help - 804.833.4098.

Dora, Anne, and Steve,
It is with great warmth and joy that I remember your husband/dad. I am so sorry for your loss. Please know that you have all been in my thoughts and prayers during these past few days and you will continue to be in my prayers for the future. I have wonderful, happy memories of times spent in your home when Anne and I would play together as kids and then also when we were teens and I came back to VA in the summer of 83 from Germany and you housed me, just like family for a week or so. I always felt welcomed in your home. I remember always lots and lots of laughter, mostly because of your dad. I also remember times where your family came over to our house and the "adults" would be so LOUD with laughter, worse than the kids! As I recall my time with Bo ("Mr. Lavy") with fondness, I KNOW you have even more wonderful and great memories with your beloved husband and father. Hold tight and cherish them. Cry if you need to, laugh when you can. Please know that you are loved by so many people who care. I count it a blessing to have known him and your family. May God bless you in your days ahead and give you comfort and peace. Much love, Tracey (King) Rutter and family

Dearest Dora, Anne, Steven, & Vida,
Words cannot express how sad we are to hear about Bo. Our hearts break for you all.
We all loved Bo-- to know him was to love him.
He was the life of every party. He had this wonderful gift & sense of humor that made everyone laugh & smile. His smile was contagious!:>)
He was a joy & pleasure to be around.
Bo was also such a good worker for the Lord in the Nazarene church. He did so much good for the Lord no matter what church he attended.
I'm sure his rewards will be many in Heaven. We shall recognize him by the many stars in his crown.
My entire family loved and appreciated Bo so much.
He will be sorely missed by all.
Precious Steven & Anne,
We can sincerely sympathize with you, as it wasn't too long ago that we lost Martin's Dad. Then 2 weeks later, my Dad went home to be with the Lord. It is a deep unexplainable pain, but thank the Lord, with lots of prayer & time, it does get better.
You all are and will continue to be in all of our prayers.
Please, let us know if there is anything we can do to help you all in any way. We are here for you.
We all shall cherish our memories of Bo. We thank the Lord that we had the opportunity to know him and are even more blessed to have had him as our friend.
We thank & praise the Lord, that Bo was a child of the King and is in Heaven having a wonderful time.
We also thank the Lord for that eternal gift and promise that belivers will live forever in Heaven with HIM. "We shall be known as we are known."
We shall see & be with Bo again.
May the Lord bless & keep you all in HIS care and grant you HIS peace & comfort.
With much love, prayers, & sympathy,
Lucy, Martin, Sharon, & Rachel

The world is a lonelier place as we have lost a great man. There is one less smile, one less hug, one less firm hand shake one less reassuring pat on the back and less joke. I cannot imagine the loss but extend my deepest sympathy. Dora, Anne and Steven, my thoughts and prayers are with you during these days.

Lavy Family--we are so saddened by this loss. We just can't believe how short our time on earth is untill we begin to loose our friends. Bo was one of a kind--he could bring laughter no matter what else was going on. He was a great person and will be greatly missed by all who have crossed his path. I only had a few brief moments to meet Mr. Lavy and enjoyed those times, but have seen the character that he has instilled in his son, Steve, and know that he was a great man. We will keep your family in our prayers.

In the short time we were acquainted with him, through family events in which we were always warmly welcomed, it was our fortune to find such a bright spirit in Mr. Lavy. Although, we suspect no one really needed more than a casual meeting to acquaint themselves with his grand sense of humor and his great kindness. His passing profoundly saddens us and we offer our deepest sympathy to Dora, Steven and the Lavy & Spencer families for the loss of this joyful man.

DORA, ANNE, AND STEVEN,
WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS OUR SYMPATHY AT THE DEATH OF "BO". WE CONSIDER IT A BLESSING THAT WE WERE ABLE TO MEET AND KNOW HIM OVER THE LAST 10 YEARS AND TRULY WERE PROUD TO HAVE HIM AS PART OF OUR FAMILY.
I ONCE READ THAT A PERSON IS NEVER GONE UNTIL THERE IS NO ONE WHO REMEMBERS -- HIS PERSONA, AND HIS DESCENDANTS, WILL ASSURE THAT HE LIVES ON IN LIVES AND HEARTS FOREVER.

Dora, Ann, Steve, Vida and family,
Many of us have been family for years because of our Christian bond. Time and circumstances have led us different paths but we have always remained family.
Even in death we remain family. As I got the news my mind went back to January 5, 1981, the last day of deer season. It was cold and over 8 inches of snow and here Bo and I are in the woods in Powhatan. The events of that day Bo and I laughed about all the time.
I will miss Bo but I will meet Bo again. Love to you and if we can do anything just call.

When we lose someone we love, The loss seems too great to bear. God gives us friends to share the grief and sorrow with.
God loves us and is waiting with outstretched arms as we give our hurt to Him and receive His comfort and strength to face the coming days.
Bo was loved by the Weedons and we will miss his BIG bear hugs! We share your sorrow.

Throughout the years, we have been blessed to have shared so many happy times together as a family. Bo’s friendship meant the world to us, and we couldn’t have asked for a more genuine friend. Memories of our times together, regardless of where we were or what we were doing, will be forever held dear to us. May your memories bring you comfort in the days ahead. Your loss is also our loss. There are never the right words to express how deeply sad we are that you have to endure your loss. Bo will be truly missed by everyone who knew him no matter where they crossed his path in life.
Memories are more than just a link to the past, sometimes they are all we have that will last. They remind us of people and things we hold dear. They bring smiles and laughter and sometimes tears.
No matter what others may say, nothing will ever take these memories away.
Seize the day, never have regrets.
If you love someone – tell them.
Stay close to your friends and family,
For they have helped to make you
The person you are today.

What a blessing and joy to have gotten to know Bo over the last 8 years! I have great memories of Christmas Holidays and special events with your family. Bo was always the life of the party and brought joy to all those that he came in contact with. If you wanted to see his infectious smile get bigger, just ask him about his kids or grandkids. He was one proud dad and G-pa BoBo. I know this is a sad loss for the family, but there are such amazing memories that will last a lifetime. Bo made his mark on so many of us. I know that Bo is in heaven rejoicing today and he would want us to rejoice with him. So, "strike up the band, assemble the choir, another soldier's coming home!" There is a big party in heaven, and Bo is the life of the party!
