TEXTER, Maria Irene, 74, of Chester, died on Friday, January 29, 2010 at Johnston-Willis Hospital. She was born in Wiesbaden, Germany and was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Texter. Mrs. Texter is survived by her daughter, Linda A. Moore and husband, W.H. Moore III, of Chesterfield; grandson, Thomas W. Moore; and brother, Siegfried Ludl of Wiesbaden, Germany. She is also survived by two devoted friends, Paul and Debbie Strawser, and other numerous dear friends. A memorial service for Mrs. Texter will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, Glen Allen Office, 4240 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, Virginia 23060. Funeral arrangements by the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Home and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard, 23834. Condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
