Al Putze Jr.

PUTZE, Al Jr., 80, of Midlothian, passed away Thursday, January 14, 2010. He is survived by his devoted wife of 23 years, Sarah Browder Putze; his loving children, Eric L. Putze of West Virginia, Brian Putze and his wife, Sandra Winfrey Putze, of Glen Allen, M. Rachel Putze Caisse and her husband, Mike, of Midlothian, Patricia Kelly and her husband, Ralph, of Mechaniscville and Wilson Browder of Topping; eight grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and his faithful dog, Lance. Al was captain in the Cadet Corps Band at John Marshall High School and loved big band music. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and Korea. Al served as V.P. of Weaver Brothers Mortage Co. and Security Federal for over 26 years. The family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2010 at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd., where his funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, January 18, 2010. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
