ALBERT BERRIER Obituary

BERRIER, Albert Harry, 89, of Richmond, formerly of Charlotte, N.C., died Tuesday, December 1, 2009. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Hall Berrier and 15 siblings. He is survived by three daughters, Georgia, Debra and Pam; a son, Steven; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was a WWII veteran. He retired from City Chevrolet in Charlotte, N.C. in 1990. His two favorite hobbies were writing and singing. He sang in the family quartet in his early years and also in the church choir. Harry loved his Lord. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family will receive friends Friday, December 4, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Parham Chapel-Woody Funeral Home, 1771 North Parham Rd. A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Dover Baptist Church, 635 Manakin Rd., where Harry was also a member. Interment Greenwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dover Baptist Music Fund, P.O. Box 96, Manakin-Sabot, Va. 23103.

I am saddened to hear of Harry's passing. He was a warm, loving soul and will be sorely missed by all. My heart goes out to his family.
