Alice V. SHARPE

SHARPE, Alice V., 85, of (Elmont) Hanover County, Va., went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 27, 2009. She was the widow of Berry G. Sharpe. She is survived by two daughters, Susan Marie Wood and her husband, Guy, and Alice Mae Bales; four grandchildren, David Watson III and his daughters, Jennifer and Lisa Marie, Paul Ray and Todd Bales, and Tassy Clark; two sisters, Dorothy Chenault and Shirley Davis; brother, Darrell Knighton; and a host of great-grandchildren and devoted friends. Alice was a 20-year employee of Holly Farms, and a 20-year employee of Duplex Envelope Co. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 21, 2009, at 2 p.m. at Kenwood United Methodist Church Cemetery, 11208 Elmont Rd., Ashland. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Virginia, 7231 Forest Ave., Ste. 100, Richmond, Va. 23226.
