Dorothy Yeamans

YEAMANS, Dorothy W., 83, of Powhatan, widow of Ivanhoe V. Yeamans, died November 19, 2009. She was also preceded in death by one son, George Z. Yeamans. She is survived by son, Douglas I. Yeamans of Williamsburg; two daughters, Susan H. Yeamans of Powhatan, Elizabeth D. Yeamans; and son-in-law,Tim W. Lindenbaum of West Virginia; brother, Irvin S. Wood of North Carolina; sister, Jean W. Sclater of Palmyra, and four grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bennett & Barden Funeral Home, 3215 Anderson Hwy. (Rt. 60), Powhatan. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, 2 p.m. in Old Powhatan Baptist Church. Interment church cemetery.
