Enid Holland

HOLLAND, Mrs. Enid M., age 86, of Kilmarnock, Va., the widow of Edwin T. Holland, died Tuesday, April 20, 2010. Mrs. Holland was a wife, mother, author, retired executive secretary and music lover. She wrote "Against The Wind," a biography of her husband and his work as the founder of First Virginia Bank. Mrs. Holland is survived by four children, Lynn Holland, Virginia Brown, Sallie Corish and Edward Holland; 14 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, April 25, 2010 in Grace Episcopal Church, Kilmarnock, with interment in Historic Christ Church Burying Ground, Irvington, Va. The family will receive friends on Saturday at the Currie Funeral Home, 116 East Church Street, Kilmarnock, Va., from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to The Grace Trust, P.O.
