Doug,
My Husband and I would like to express our deepest Sympathy for the lost of your mother.
The word says, "Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted" (Matt. 5:4). Isaiah 41:10 says, "Do not fear, for I am with You; do not be dismay, for I am your God. I will streghten you and help you. John 14 says, "Let not your heart be troubled; Ye believe in God, believe also in me. . . .
Doug your mother just took the journey we all must take. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Remember she is not suffering, she is just smiling down on you. As the songest says, " Save a seat for ME".

She will be forever loved and remembered by all of the lives she has touched. She is one of the strongest women I have ever known and I can only wish to be as strong as her. We will take comfort in knowing that her suffering has ended but memory will always live on in our hearts. I am blessed to have known her and grow as her grand daughter. She has been one of the most important women in my father's life and he is a better person because of her love, tenderness and kindness. Just one of the many reasons why she was loved so much by many.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the family of Mrs. Gertrude James words alone cannot express my sympathy on the passing of your beloved mother, grandmother and friend. To say that her time with us was far too short is an understatement. The reality is that she will be sorely missed by all who loved and knew her.
There is no doubt the outpouring of sympathy you have received has been of some consolation. Hopefully it will serve as a reminder to you that prayers and thoughts are with the family.
I hope that you and your family will find peace and comfort in knowing that her suffering is over and that her reward awaits her. I will continue to lift your family up in prayer.
May God bless you and your wonderful family.
