I just heard today. My condolences to Jenny's family. I remember when she first moved to the neighborhood all those years ago in Chester and my cousin Lori and I fought over who was going to be friends with the "new girl". She was a wonderful person.
God bless,

I just got the news today. I am so sorry. Jen, you surely will be missed by all that knew you and loved you. My sympathy goes out to your family.

You were the first new person I met at Cortland and you were my roommate. You opened me up to the 1000 Islands and had so much fun hanging out with you during those few years at Cortland. Those memories will last a lifetime.

Love you!

Our thoughts and prayer are with the entire family during this difficult time. My daughter (Brianna Jackson) was in Mrs. Breneman's Pre-K class 2 years ago and Brianna absolutely loved her! She was such an awesome woman and teacher. She will be greatly missed by all who had the wonderful opportunity to know her.
With deepest sympathy

Dear David,
We're so sorry Jenny's gone. Kendyl and Andrew always said positive things about Jenny, and they were both so happy when you two were married. In the short time I knew Jenny, she was kind and friendly to me, Warren, Samantha, and Rachel. I know she was your soulmate and bestfriend. After knowing you for so many years, I knew by the way you looked at her how much you loved her. I know Emma and John have become an important part of your life and your deep concern for them for the loss of their mother shows us all how much love you have in your heart. With love, Lisa (Breneman) Ballard

Jenny was not only an amazing person she was a talented and caring teacher. She helped Chesterfield County Schools create a quality Virginia Preschool Initiative program and her fellow pre-k teachers are all grieving a friend and colleague. Her smile and gentle nature was appreciated by her students and all that met her. She was a tremendous advocate for these young students and she will be greatly missed. Jenny truly made a difference in the lives of many.

My deepest sympathy goes out to her family. Mrs. Breneman was our grandson's (Jaden Robertson) Pre-K teacher. He dearly loved her. She made his first year of school a great experience. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Jennifer was a great mom and a fine person. I always admired her even tempered personality and perseverance. I was thrilled when she met David. She was in our pokeno group for many years and I always did love it when it was her turn to host because she was a great cook. I have to admire that since I'm not. I'm still in complete and utter shock. This happened way too young.

We are still shocked and saddened by Jennifer's passing. She was the best neighbor we could have had and we are thankful for her friendship for these past 12 years. We grieve with you all and pray for you often. This world would be a better place with more people like Jennifer. She will be sorely missed.

I had the pleasure of working with Jenny several years ago. I still use her songs and ideas in my classroom today. I will miss her sweet smile and gentle ways. My heart goes out to her family, especially to John and Emma, and Dave. You are in my prayers...remember Phil. 4:13 - "I can do ALL things through Jesus Christ, who strengthens me."
