I just learned of Joan's death from Bob Elliott. Although I haven't seen Joan in a long time, she was always one of my favorite cousins. She was always so full of live and very funny. I know those closest to her will miss her. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Charlotte Cunningham Knepp, Maxine Elliott Davis' daughter in Texas

I was really shocked to hear of Joan's untimely death. I thought so much of her as a kind and gentle person. I know members of the family and friends will really miss her.
Rest in Peace, Joan

Mr. Clay and family,
The family of Kevin Graham Moody wish to express our heart felt sympathy for the loss of Joan. She was part of our extended family through marriage. My mother, Marianne Graham Moody, was Jack's sister. Joan was loved by all of our family and we enjoyed her visits to Georgia.
Sincerely, Kevin, Alice, Mary Grace and Elizabeth Moody Monroe Ga.

Charles, Jerry, and Betsy: I am so sorry to hear the news about Joan. I certainly enjoyed her being in our shag class and she seemed to be having a good time dancing with the group. We will miss her laughter and chatter at the classes. Please know that my heartfelt sympathies go out to all the family.
On behalf of all the Crewe Shag Class, condolences to the family. Joan is dancing on a higher level now!
