Donald C. Hoskinson Sr. born February 11, 1940, passed away peacefully at the age of 85, at home surrounded by family on April 29,2025.
He could always be found in the garden, hunting, fishing, or in the workshop! He retired from the US Navy after 21 years of service as a CW02.
He was preceded in death by his wife Wilda “Lyn” Hoskinson, both parents Colby and Margarite Hoskinson, grandson Joshua Palmer West and a niece Angie P. Trevino.
He is survived by his children; Juleen West (Palmer), Donald Hoskinson Jr., Peter Hoskinson, Cory Hoskinson (Jennifer), Kevin Hoskinson, 3 grandchildren; Robin West, Megan Rundstrom (Brian), and Autumn Hoskinson, 4 great grandchildren; Austin Kassel, Brian Rundstrom Jr., Addison Rundstrom and Tyler Rundstrom, sister Janice Pelton, nieces Fay Pelton and Andrea Pelton, nephew Tony Pelton, four great nieces and six great nephews, five great great nephews and one great niece.
A memorial service will be held for Donald and Lyn on May 13, 2025 at 3:00PM at Amelia Veterans Cemetery in Amelia, VA.
