What I remember very vividly is the quiet kindness and beautiful smile that Joel possessed. He was one of the good guys and I know he will be missed tremendously.

Thomas Jefferson Class of '80 has lost another valuable classmate. "Rooster" as we all know was a kind and dear friend. We will miss you deeply. We will keep your family in our prayers. We loved you but God loved you best so enjoy your fellowship with the Master as you take your rest.

psalm 23
the lord is my shephord i shallnot want.he makes me to lie down in green pastures he leads me beside the still waters.he restores my soul he leads me in the paths of rightouness for his name sake. yea though i walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for you are with me your rod and your staff they comfort me you prepare a before me in the presence a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over. Surely godness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the lord forever. From girly girly your grand daughter and sisters, love destiny

It is with great sadness that we sign this guest book. We all grew up with "Rooster" on the Graves School playground. May God bless the family and give you the strength you need to get through this difficult time.
