HICKOK, John Wade, 85, of Richmond, widower of Janice Bettencourt Hickok, passed away December 3, 2009. He is survived by his sons, John Jeffrey Hickok and his wife, Melissa, and grandson, Tyler Wade Hickok; David Wade Hickok and girlfriend, Kathy Owen, and her daughter, Kimberly Owen. Mr. Hickok retired from the Internal Revenue Service after many years of service. He was a U.S. Army Air Force veteran of WWII, a graduate of the University of Kentucky 1951 and a longtime member of St. Bridget's Catholic Church. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Parham Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1771 N. Parham Rd. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Bridget's Catholic Church. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park.
