To Bodie's Family,
I am so sorry to hear about Bodie. I worked with him at IAF for years and we shared many good times together there. As you may know, it wasn't the most pleasant job in the world, but he and Mark made it fun. I will miss him and hope you know just how wonderful of a man he was. My prayers are with you and your family.

Patti, you don't know me or my family but my mother Julia Spadora was Bodie's mother's best friend when we lived in Richmond in the 1960's. They kept in touch until my Mother passed away last year. I am so sorry for your loss. I knew Bodie as a child but lost touch over the years. My prayers are with you and your family.

To the Banton family,
My husband Gregg and I formerly worked with Bodie and Mark at IAF. I just recently learned of Bodie's illness. He was a really great worker and a friend to everyone there. I remember a time when Bodie brought his daughters to the office. They were so cute and well behaved. Both boys were polite and sincere to both my husband and myself and we are truly sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this time.

Dear Patti, Jessica, and Sara, Bodie will be greatly missed and was loved by everyone that knew him. He was always the 1st one ready to help anytime that anyone needed anything. Dear Millie and family, I am in shock... I cannot begin to tell you what a wonderful student Bodie was.... I remember he had a pen pal come to visit... I did see Bodie almost grown up years ago, he was working at a store in the West End.

I am so sorry to hear about Bodie. I have many wonderful childhood memories of him and the friendship he had with my brother Gary and my family. I'll also always remember how good he was to my son. I smile when I think of Bodie & Patti's wedding day and my son just couldn't understand why the minister called Bodie, Maynard. He said, "Mom, his name's Bodie, doesn't he know that?" It gave us all some laughs. I'm truly so very sorry. I know a person as good as Bodie will be missed by many.

Pat, Jessica and Sara, I am so so sorry to hear of Bodie's passing. Bodie was a friend to all that knew him. I will never forget the times that the four of us worked the Field Days of the Past.
