Dearest Vicki and family,

We extend our condolences to each of you. May God grant you the peace and understanding that's needed when we say "see you later" to a loved one for the "last time". Take care and please let us know if we can be of any help to you all.

Hylton Park enjoyed seeing Raymond on his undaunted walks. He always had a cheerful or encouraging word to share about someone's yard or plantings. We were lamenting your loss this morning and wish that you, Vicki, and your family get through the difficult day and beyond knowing you are thought of and shared about among friends here. With Sympathy, Hylton Park Neighbors.

With great admiration, I recall meeting you, Vicki, at Skate Nation. What I saw there was and is, a remarkable person and Raymond was blessed to have you and the rest of his family. You (all) were so good to him and it's my wish that sadness keep a distance from your doorstep as life goes along. So sorry for your loss, The neighbor down the street on Ravenscroft.

We are going to miss Raymond very much. My twin girls, Sarah and Emily, loved Raymond so much, and he always had the biggest smile for them as they ran toward him for hugs.

Vicki and family, We are so sorry for your loss and ours as well.

I see his face and remember so many good times. I immediately see a box of RC Cola bottles sitting under the carport. I remember fire works in the backyard and your Dad hoping that RL wouldn't catch the Peacocks' trees on fire. Your father gave me my first job - feeding the cat while you were on vacation!(He paid very well!) He was always just a call away when one of us had an unexplainable pain or illness, "Call Mr. Hubbard! He's on the Rescue Squad!" Best of all I remember wonderful beach days shared at Topsail. We are so lucky to have such great memories made by wonderful parents - I hope they are all having their own block party tonight!
xoxo

Michael, Vicki and RL, I was so sorry to hear about your dad passing. He was a good person and a terrific neighbor. I have missed seeing him since he moved to the nursing home. He is at peace now and with the love of his life. God bless.

When the Army and the Navy look on heavens scenes, they will find the streets are guarded by United States Marines.
