Leo Allen Zavitsky
Leo Allen Zavitsky, 69, of Coaldale, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, at St. Luke's University Hospital, Bethlehem.
Surviving are sons Leo Alen Zavitsky Jr., and his companion Kate, of Coaldale, and Luckey A. Zavitsky, and his wife Mallory, of Myerstown; daughter Mary Ann Seip, wife of David Jr., of Hellertown; brother Joseph Zavitsky of Warminster; grandchildren, Jessica, David, and his wife Allison, Lewie Jr., and Leland; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Jacob and Maria.
He was also predeceased by his wife, Mary Ann (Hartner) Zavitsky on Aug. 28, 2016; son, Lewie A. Zavitsky on Aug. 3, 2009; brothers, Alex and Pauley Zavitsky; and sister, Mrs. Dorothy Griffin.
Leo was an auto body technician by trade. He liked to fish and spend time with his family.
Born Tuesday, Jan. 27, 1948 in Scranton, a son of the late Alex and Dorothy (Dietrich) Zavitsky.
Service: Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 31, from the E. Franklin Griffiths Funeral Home & Cremation Services Inc. 655 E. Broad St., Tamaqua. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until time of services.
Interment will be in Sky-View Memorial Park, Hometown.
