Mrs. Mildred A. Krajnak
Mrs. Mildred A. Krajnak, 88, of 214 W. Ridge St., Coaldale, passed away on Tuesday, April 15, in the St. Luke's Miner Memorial Hospital Geriatric Center, Coaldale. She was the widow of Stephen G. Krajnak, who passed away in 1984.
She worked for several garment factories, mainly for the former Van Huessen Factory, Coaldale, and was last employed by the former Ruth Ann Fashions, Lansford.
Born in Coaldale, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anatola (Toman) Radocha.
She was a member of the former SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, Coaldale.
Mildred was an avid sports fan, supporting the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees.
Surviving are a daughter, Donna Marie Degler, and two grandchildren, Keith Allen Degler, and his wife, Angelina, and Breanna Lynn Degler, all of Coaldale; two great-grandchildren, Amelia Rose Degler and Gabriel Michael Degler; and a niece, Janet Kupec.
She was also preceded in death by three brothers, John J., William and Joseph Radocha; and a sister, Hedy Galgoci.
Service: Funeral service 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 22, Thomas J. Parambo Funeral Home, 54 W. Fell St., Summit Hill; Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m., St. Joseph Catholic Church, Summit Hill. Interment, SS. Cyril & Methodius Cemetery, Nesquehoning. Call 6-8 p.m. Monday and 10-10:30 a.m. Tuesday. Contributions in her name may be made to St. Luke's Miner Memorial Hospital Geriatric Center, Coaldale, c/o the funeral home, 18250. Online condolences may be signed at www.parambofh.com.
