I'd like to express my sympathy to Lowell and family on the earthly departure of Marilyn. It was my privilege to get to know Marilyn through my children's participation in OM then DI. Marilyn worked tirelessly for both organizations, always very organized, unflappable, and most importantly, with joy, always putting the kids first. Her efforts shone at local, regional, state, and global. Without Marilyn, Region 10 wouldn't have earned the respect it now enjoys. Without Marilyn, 100's of local kids wouldn't have had the lifelong memories they carry of OM and DI and the sense of accomplishment from working creatively on teams to "solve problems."
Another take away from the OM and DI competitions was the love, devotion, pride, and fun between Marilyn and Lowell. Kind of takes my breath away thinking how much Lowell must be missing her. Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
