FRANK SEARFUS Obituary

Frank Searfus Passed away Friday, Jan. 14, 2011 at Madigan Hospital. born in Sandpoint, Idaho Feb. 11, 1927 to Bert and Gladys Searfus. He enlisted in the US Army in 1945 and retired in 1967, serving in WWII and Korea. He married Charlotte Pfahler in Germany in 1950. After retiring he settled in Dupont, where he enjoyed hunting and fishing the great Northwest. He was always there to lend a helping hand for friends and neighbors, and he always had a joke to tell and time for laughing. He was a friend of Bill W for 14+ years. He was preceded in death by his wife Charlotte Searfus, sons Thomas Bert Searfus and Robert Michael Searfus. Survived by sister Jean Pike, son Frank Searfus and wife Becky, grandsons Matthew Searfus and wife Becky, Nicholas Searfus and wife Michelle, granddaughters Noelle Searfus, October and Kip Isin, and three great grandchildren. Memorial service and Celebration of Life will be held at Dupont Community Church 1 pm, Sat., Jan. 29. Share a laugh with someone and tell them to pass it on...
