If ever there was a Saint on this earth it was Dr. Frank Shallenberger. I only knew him about 2 years, while in his SS class at Sabino Road Baptist Church, but there was never a doubt that God spoke through this man. I know he is now rejoicing with his Heavenly Father. May Yvonne and their children find peace in knowing he is with his Father.

Dr. Shallenberger was my doctor from the time I was born in 1959 and he was my daughter's doctor when she was born in 1980. He remained our doctor until he retired. I went to school with his daughter Liz and our family considered him to be a good friend. He will be missed, but always remembered fondly.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this sad time.

To the Shallenberger family, I offer my condolences. Although it has been some time since I attended Sabino Road Baptist, I do remember Frank's support, guidance and friendship during my time there. He was someone who gave more of himself than was asked of him ... a good and faithful servant of the Lord.

Frank was our family Doctor from 1963 until he retired from private practice. He was the epitomy of what a family physician should be, very caring, highly skilled and a marvelous diagnostician. It is good to read that aside from being a fine doctor, he was also a fine Christian.

I recall Frank Shallenberger from many years ago. He and my father, Dr W C Finn were friends at one time. I even was a sponsor for one of the Shallenberger sons at Confirmation at St Ambrose Church, where the family once attended. My condolences to the family of an excellent physician. Yvonne and Family,

John and I have fond memories of you and Dr. Frank and Barry during our time at Sabino Road Baptist Church. While he was not my physician, he helped me consider options related to my own surgery in 1992. You and your family have been a blessing to me and to my parents, Tom and Joan Crofts. Thank you for your faithful witness of the love of Jesus.

HAVING ONLY KNOWN FRANK FOR A SHORT 22 YEARS, HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN ONE TO ENCOURAGE AND BLOT OUT DISCOURAGEMENT. HE ALWAYS REFERRED TO MARTY AS HIS GODFATHER AFTER HE HAD HELPED DR. JAMES BECK BAPTIZE FRANK, AFTER HE HAD ACCEPTED JESUS CHRIST AS HIS LORD AND SAVIOR. HE WAS A GREAT GOD SON AND WE WILL MISS HIS WISDOM AND HOSPITALITY, BUT KNOWING THAT WE WILL BE TOGETHER AGAIN IN HEAVEN OUR FINAL RESTING PLACE. WE PLEDGE OUR CONTINUED PRAYERS FOR THOSE LEFT BEHIND, MAINLY HIS WIFE OF ALMOST 22 YEARS YVONNE.
