2010
Passed away on December 28, 2010. He was born October 15, 1987.
Roscoe grew up in Camarillo, attending Los Altos Middle School followed by Camarillo High School. Roscoe enjoyed going to the lake, wake boarding, being outdoors, skateboarding or just hanging out with friends.
He loved the San Diego Chargers. Roscoe always maintained a positive attitude and wanted to make this world a better place and bring joy to everyone he met. He will be remembered for his loving and generous spirit. Roscoe had a smile that would light up a room and his laughter could brighten up anyones day.
He never forgot his sense of humor and he made everyone who knew him laugh, even on his "bad" days. Roscoe lived his life his way. he could be a little stubborn at times but it was that fighting spirit that gave him the courage to face and overcome a heart transplant at the young age of 18. He never gave up the fight but in the end his heart was just too big for this world.
Roscoe leaves behind his beloved mother, Robin and Stephen Daw who will forever carry Roscoe in their hearts. He will always be his Momma's boy. Roscoe is survived by loving sister; Renee and husband Ken Truitt, nephews; Nicholas and Jackson, Dad, Ronald Prebble, grandparents; Mimi and Papa Jensen, Don and Sheila Marlow, preceded in death by grandma Mary Marlow. Uncles; Larry and Kenny, aunts; Julie and Nina, cousins; Jeremy, Taylor, Geoffrey, Tim, Tania, Kristy, Mike, Jessica and Jamie and girlfriend, Casie Berlfein. Roscoe also leaves behind his dogs and numerous friends.
A memorial will be held at 1 p.m., Sunday, January 2 at Conejo Mountain Cemetery. In lieu of flowers give the gift of life and sign up to be an organ donor. OrganDonor.Gov

I was terribly saddened to hear of Roscoe's passing. He and I had lived in adjoining condos since he moved in. On Sunday mornings, I would usually be wrenching on my car in the garage, and always saw Roscoe wearing his Chargers jersey. The world was a better place with him, and my wife and I are going to miss him.

Steve and Robin, I was so shocked and deeply saddened to hear about Roscoe. He worked as a sub several times in my preschool special needs classroom, and I also knew him through his friends Dustin and Julie (my daughter). He was very kind, caring, helpful, and effective in my classroom, and my students liked him immediately,as did my staff and I. He had a very fun, friendly, sweet, giving spirit. My heart goes out to you, and I will be keeping you in my thoughts and prayers now and in the days to come.

I worked with Prebble in Security for a while at AMGEN. Our security officers and security escorts are all shocked to hear our 'Patrol 4 Officer' had passed away. He always had a smile on his face and always ready to respond to another alarm. My sincere condolences and deepest sympathy. Madeleine Spector Shift Manager Security.

I was very sad to learn of Ron's passing...I met him briefly last Summer when he was working for Allied Barton Security on the Amgen Campus in Newbury Park. Although I only knew him for a short time he truly seemed to be a really nice guy with a friendly and sincere way about him. I want to send my condolence and heart felt sympathy to his family and friends.
God Bless,
Michael Greenway and family.

I have so many memories of Little Ronnie I Managed the Apartment Complex where his Dad lives and Ronnie (PJ) and Renee would come for the Summer.. I have not seen him in several Years but he was quiet the character back then. He and Big Sis Renee were like having 2 more kiddos added to my family during these times, my Son Brandon even tought him his fist trick on a bicycle. But the tricks PJ would do on his skate board use to scare the witts out of me.It is so hard to imagine he is no longer with us here on earth, I, like Renee just keep saying did this just happen?? Renee was so good to PJ even tho she and Cambria spent alot of time hiding from him..lol.. but he always seemed to find them..Both Renee and PJ have the mose Beautiful smile and cutest darn laugh, Ive only met Robin once and I think they both look just like her, Robin as a Mother of this precious guy I can't begin to tell you how sorry I am and can only pray that God will wrap his loving arms around you and your family and get you through this.Your children are precious and I can say that they added alot of joy to my life as well. Its killing me on the inside because I want so bad to be there. Please hold Renee tight and give her kisses for me.. tell PJ I love him and will see him in HEAVEN...God just got a great Angel...May God bless you all and I love you Little Ronnie rest in peice we are going to all miss you
