Nancy Hultz Obituary

Nancy L. Hultz, 70, of 1417 S. Sixth St., died Friday (June 10, 2011) in her home.

Nancy was born Feb. 13, 1941, in Meyer, a daughter of Lewellyn Francis and Emma Josephine Arnold Barnes-Innes. She married Michael L. Hultz on June 27, 1985, in Monticello, Mo. He survives.

Nancy was a homemaker. She had worked at Quincy Speakers, Quincy Paper Box, Maid Services and Micro Energy of Quincy.

Nancy enjoyed going to the casino, putting flowers on graves and visiting the local grocery store (Mayes) across the street. She also liked making ceramics and spending time with her sister, Joe Ann.

In addition to her husband, survivors also include a daughter, Judy Ann Roberta (Ronnie) Pierce of Maywood, Mo.; three sisters, Joe Ann Brown, Bonnie (Jim) Mathes and Wanda Sparrow; a brother, Allen "Sonny" (Norma) Barnes; grandchildren, David (Holly) Murry of Denver, and Dana (Ed) Reid of LaGrange, Mo.; a stepgrandaughter, Leanne Pierce of Maywood, Mo.; great-grandchildren, Alex and Isabella Murry of Denver and Owen and Sylvia Reid of LaGrange; and several nieces and nephews.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Charles and Gary Barnes; a sister, Margie Zinn; and two nephews, Gaylord W. "Wayne" Friday and Ricky Dean Barnes.

SERVICES: Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Greenmount Cemetery with the Rev. Steve Martin conducting.

VISITATION: There is no visitation, but family and friends are invited to attend the graveside services.

MEMORIALS: Blessing Foundation for HOSPICE.

ARRANGEMENTS: Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.
