Blanche Birch Obituary

BIRCH, BLANCHE L., 83, of Danielson, Connecticut, formerly of West Warwick, RI passed away peacefully at RI Hospital on November 11th. She was the daughter of the late Horace and Mathilda (Chagnon) Brien. She was the wife of the late William Birch, Sr.

She is survived by her five children, Edward Ursillo of Danielson, Connecticut, Linda Restante of Warwick, Patricia Badough of Victoria, Texas, Kathryn Hawkins and Cynthia Hall of Cranston, RI. She is also survived by seven siblings, ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late Thomas Ursillo and grandmother of the late Lesa Collins.

She was a faithful communicant of St. Joseph's Church in West Warwick; and enjoyed playing bingo and cards.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, November 14, 2008 at St. Joseph's Church, Providence Street, West Warwick, RI at 10am. Burial will be at RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter, RI. Calling hours will be held at Gagnon-Costello Funeral Home, 33 Reynolds St., Danielson, Connecticut on Thursday 7-9pm.
