Jack, Dottie, Jimmy and all The Meehan Family: I was sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Meehan. He was one of my favorite people, as he always had a smile on his face and always knew how to make others smile. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as the world losses another kind and caring person. May he rest in peace. Love Always, Mary-Jo Reddington Proulx and Family

To the Meehan family,
Johnnie was a hero to my family. In addition to his tremendous sense of humor, He had a huge and giving heart. My Dad broke his back in 1955 delivering mail. He spent 22 months in the hospital mending. In the early days of his hospitalization, Johnnie Meehan visited him every day and fed him because Dad was unable to do so. He brought such joy and compassion to our family in our direst hour of need. I'll never forget him, and have enrolled him in perpetual daily masses by the Passionist Fathers. I did this years ago, so I have no doubt God has been smiling on Johnnie and will continue to do so for eternity. God Bless!

John was a wonderful man. He brought happiness to so many who knew him; he was an angel. My family had the priviledge of meeting John at Eastgate Nursing Home where my Mom was a resident. John always stopped by Mom's room to sing her a funny song, or an Irish song, or just to bring a little joy to her. We will always remember him and will visit his grave everytime we visit my Mom's.

To the Meehan Family
John was a pleasure to know and to work with. A fine gentleman with a smile and a story always. Many fond memories over many years in the Postal Service. My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.

Dear Jim, Sue and family,
I am so sorry to hear about Johnny. We had alot of fun together. I used to enjoy listening to him play his accordian and sing his old songs. He was very special. I had some nice times with him sitting on his porch talking, walking down to the store with him to get his newspaper and even going to the thrift shop of that little church. He was one of a kind. I saw him a couple of months ago at Atria and we had such a nice visit. We were both surprised to see each other. He was a special man and a really good friend. I am privillaged just to have known him. He will be missed.
Sincerely,
Brian Vincent
