Stephen Jackson Obituary

JACKSON, SR., STEPHEN R., 58, of Wilson Ave, a salesperson for Lowe's Home Improvement and former employee for Allens Avenue Auto Salvage, died Saturday, October 13, 2007 at RI Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Claudia J. (Colvin) Jackson.

Born in Providence, a son of the late Jane (Jackson) Hall, he lived in Warwick for most of his life. Mr. Jackson was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War and a life member of the Oakland Beach Fire Co.

He was the father of Stephen R. 'Buzzy' Jackson, Jr., Kathy M. Ellis, stepfather of Kevin R. Colvin, grandfather of Stephen, Ashley and Scott; brother of Kenneth Hall and nephew of Ruth Jackson.

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 10 AM in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter. Visiting hours Tuesday, 4-8 PM. Information and guestbook visit www.TheQuinnFuneralHome.com
