Vera (Myatt) Sellins Obituary
She was born in East Providence, the daughter of the late John and Laura (O'Brien) Myatt.
Vera was a homemaker and a dedicated and loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was a member of the Central Baptist Church and a member of the Woodmen of the World for over 60 years. Vera enjoyed her flower garden and was well known for her flowers, as well as being accomplished at crafts and organ and piano playing.
Vera is survived by one son, David A. Sellins and daughter-in-law Andrea Sellins of North Stonington ; one daughter, Judy A. Sellins of Westerly; one sister, Grace Sharp of Attleboro, Mass.; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by one brother, John Myatt II; and two sisters, Blanche Mahala and Frances Haggstrom.
Funeral services will be held in Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly, Wednesday at 11 a.m. A visiting hour will precede the funeral from 10 to 11 a.m. Interment will follow in Union Cemetery.
