Barbara was never too busy to answer a question or share a laugh. Thoughts are with the family

I am saddened by the passing of Barbara Schmidt whom I first met in 2008 when I moved to Irving Texas. She was the ultimate professional agent. My deepest condolences to her family and Rest in Peace, Barbara. ~ Alicia Lanier

I have just learned of Barbara's passing. My sincere condolences to her family, friends and office colleagues.
I was one of Barbara's first insurance clients. I've been with her this entire time. In 1993 I had just moved from Madison, WI to Dallas and had no idea how to handle the brave new world called TX. Throughout those 30+ years Barbara has always picked up the phone herself or responded promptly to get me (or most likely my late husband) out of a jam.

I came home from Italy to find the letter from State Farm saying that Barbara had passed. I have been a client of hers since early 1994, when she was just starting out. Thirty years. She always laughed at me but appreciated that I asked questions no one else asked. (I have a casualty insurance background, which made us kindred spirits) We always enjoyed talking to one another. I will miss her! I always took it for granted that she would be there. I am so sorry that she has been taken from us. My deepest condolences to her family and friends and office staff.

I worked with Bob at my first job out of college. He and Barb would host events for all the "young" kids. Barb was a ray of sunshine and positivity. Her unexpected passing is a complete shock. I pray that God helps the family find peace to get through this difficult time.
