Carol L. Greiner passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, February 2, 2023, at the age of 76.
She was born on December 7, 1946, to Glenn and Katherine Barton in Minneapolis, MN. Carol attended St. Austin's Catholic School and graduated from Monticello High School in 1964. She went on to attend Regency School of Beauty.
Carol met then married Marlin Greiner on October 17, 1970; they remained together for 41 years until his death in 2012. They had two daughters, Corrine and Cara.
Carol worked at, then purchased the hair salon, The Beauty Nook in Centuria, WI. She later sold the shop but continued to work there part time while moonlighting at Comforts of Home in St. Croix Falls, WI.
Carol was a league bowler and enjoyed time with her gal pals taking canoe trips and playing cards. She loved sewing, crafting, fishing, and her flower gardens.
Carol is now reunited in heaven with her husband, Marlin; parents, Glenn and Katherine; and brother-in-law, Gary TeGrootenhuis.
She is survived by daughters Corrine (Robyn) Greiner, Cara (Pam) Sybrant; grandchildren Katelyn (Matt) Bethke, Carl and Kobe Sybrant; great-grandchildren Kaden, Theodore, and Brynnlee Bethke; brother Robert (Collette) Barton; sisters Kathy TeGroothenhuis and Rosemary (Al) Deiss; four-legged companion Marlie Mae, as well as other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Arnell Memorial Humane Society.
