Carol Lee Husk

Carol Lee Husk, age 72, a resident of Round Lake Beach, IL, passed away on December 24, 2023 at Advocate Condell Medical center in Libertyville, IL. She was born on October 24, 1951 in Berlin, WI to Guido and Leona Arquilla. Carol met her husband, Charles, when they were both Cub Scout leaders, and they later combined their families. Together, they became a model foster parents in 1993. They were foster parents to four children and adopted three. Carol was a strong, independent woman with a heart to help all who became friends. She was always willing to help anyone she came in contact with and was always respectful to all people.
Carol is survived by her husband, Charles, of 40 years whom she married on May 5, 1984 in Round Lake, IL; her children, Sean Gillette of Mundelein, IL, Brian Husk of Fox Lake, IL, Patrick Husk of Huntley, IL, Carrie Anton of Madison, WI, Bernard Husk of Round Lake Beach, IL, Dena Husk of Racine, WI, and Isaiah Thomas of Lowell, MA; and 19 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
