Charles F. Crampton

Charles "Charlie" F. Crampton, age 66 of Wilmington, DE passed away on January 11, 2023 at Christiana Hospital. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Upper Darby, PA, Charlie resided for the past 37 years in North Wilmington, DE, previously residing in Norwood, PA. Charlie was a systems analyst for SAP in Newtown Square, PA for 31 years retiring in 2022. He graduated from Upper Darby High School, Class of 1974, and earned his bachelor's degree from Widener University in 1978. He was a Fraternal Brother for Alpha Sigma Phi and enjoyed track and field and ran in the Penn Relays. He was an avid Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies fan. He enjoyed bowling and cooking on the grill, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. In addition to his parents, Chester Charles and Hanna Muller Crampton, Charlie is preceded in death by his son, Kevin Charles Crampton, who passed in 2016. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Judith E. Crampton, daughter, Jamiee Crampton, sister, Regina Crampton, brother, Gary (Melanie) Crampton, as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and 3 great great nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Saturday, January 21, from 9-10:15AM at the Pagano Funeral Home, 3711 Foulk Rd., Garnet Valley, PA followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00AM at Church of the Holy Child, 2500 Naamans Road, Wilmington, DE.
