Susan Crampton

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Susan Gaye Crampton, who departed this life on October 28, 2025, in her hometown of Ogden, Utah. Born on March 7, 1947, she led a life marked by resilience, strength, and an unwavering love for her family and her cherished dog, Abby. Sue was a devoted sister, aunt and wife who was happy to help anyone who needed an extra hand . She married the love of her life, Don Crampton, in 1992. In their 20 years of marriage they travelled all over the US. At one point, settling in Sitka, Alaska, which Sue loved. Eventually returning back to Ogden, Ut.

She is survived by her sister, Betty Manning. Her nieces and nephews, Dusty Manning, Dori (Wendell) Hansen, Katy (JD) Christensen, Todd (Teena) Manning, Laurie Andrews and Nick Andrews. As well as many great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dear friend and partner in crime, Karen Jorgensen.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Don Crampton, her parents, William and Catherine Andrews, and her brother, Larry Andrews and her brother in law Gerald Manning.
