Survivors are his beloved wife, Mary Wolinski Powell of Valdosta; sons, Charles Alexander Powell IV of Valdosta, Harrison Andrew (Danni) Powell of Hahira; daughter, Jennifer Johnson (Ron) Smith of Macon; grandchildren, Lucas Powell, Drew Powell, Grace Powell, Daniel Powell, Christopher Johnson, Bradley Johnson, Alex Johnson, Allison Johnson.
A memorial service for Mr. Powell will be held at 11am on Monday, April 17, 2023, in the Langdale Chapel at First Baptist Church of Valdsota. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10-11am. Condolences to the family may be conveyed online at www.mclanecares.com.

Condolences from Ken's brother. Charles and I ran track together in high school; he a senior and me a sophomore; Ken and Charles being longtime friends, they have passed within days of each other. Now they can be together again. Missing them both.
