Connie Marie Hopkins Schultz, 71, of Moberly, Missouri, went home to the Lord on October 5, 2023, at her home.
Connie was born on February 16, 1952, in Moberly, Missouri, to Levi and Theresa Hopkins. She graduated from Moberly High School in 1970 and went on to attend Moberly Area Community College (MACC).
She married Robert “Bob” Schultz on May 15, 1976, in Moberly, Missouri, at St. Pius X.
Connie had a few jobs throughout the years; however, she always took pride in working hard as a homemaker in the home.
She was a member of the St. Pius X Church and enjoyed her time as she attended ger grandchildren’s events. She was a wonderful granny to her grandchildren. Connie enjoyed reading books, gardening outside, baking, cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Her family and friends will always remember her as a wonderful cook and for her famous homemade noodles she would always fix. More than anything, she will be remembered as a very caring and loving mother and grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Theresa Hopkins; father-in-law, Edward Schultz; mother-in-law, Clara Bell Schultz and brother-in-law, Michael Schultz.
Connie is survived by her two sons, Travis (Cyndi) Schultz of Benicia, CA and Christopher (Natasha) Schultz of Moberly, MO; five grandchildren, Addyson Schultz, Olyvia Schultz, Colton Schultz all of Moberly, MO, Emma Schultz and Jackson Schultz both of Benicia, CA; four siblings, David (Deb) Hopkins of Winter Haven, FL, Steven Hopkins, Susan (Doug) Hanley of Winter Haven, FL and Chrissy Winkler of Columbia, MO; extended family and friends.
Per the request of the family, a graveside service will be held at a later date.
