Daniel Shane Phelps was born in Champaign, Illinois on December 11, 1971 to Bernard Dean and Oletha Joy (Wooldridge) Phelps. Shane grew up in Beaver County and attended Beaver Public Schools. After school, Shane went to work in the construction field and later in life he became an avid POD caster.
Shane was preceded in death by his father, Bernard Dean Phelps, his brother, Joey Hageman and his stepfather, Konnie Winters.
Shane passed in Baptist St. Anthony Hospital in Amarillo, Texas on September 27, 2023.
He is survived by his mother, Oletha Winters; his siblings, Bobbie Phelps, Tina Elledge, Leisha Gibson, Charlotte Meier, Shawn Meier, Malinda Avalons, and Eddie Faye Bright.
Others who cherished by him in life were Rusty Hageman; his brothers and sisters spouses, their children and grandchildren, and so many aunts, uncles and cousins as well as his two children.
