Danny Boyd

Danny Boyd, 81, husband of Orene Peck Boyd, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at Clark Regional Medical Center, Winchester. He was born August 23, 1941 to Noga and Mintie Hall Boyd. Survivors include, loving wife of 60 years, Orene Boyd, daughter, Robin Watts; sons, Joe Boyd, Randy (Onesia) Boyd, and Steven Boyd, brother, Jimmy (Bonnie) Boyd; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Danny was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Eugene, Noga Jr., Kenneth, and Raymond Boyd; and sister, Gloria Ledford. He was a welder and farmer for over forty years, and a member of Queen Street Christian Fellowship. He loved being surround by his close family and friends, and was a loving papaw to all of his grandchildren. Danny especially enjoyed bluegrass music, cooking, and gardening. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Services Saturday, April 22, 1:00PM Wells Funeral Home by Pastor Tracy Crouch. Visitation Friday 5-8pm at the funeral home. Burial in Resthaven Cemetery with Dawson Boyd, Austin Napier, Kevin Ledford, Terry Boyd, Randy Boyd, Kolby Boyd, Joey Boyd, Steve Boyd, and Bobby Stambaugh.
