David Messer Obituary
David was raised in Charlotte, where he met his late wife, Joan Messer. They were married for 49 years and raised their only child, David R. Messer Jr. David worked in the sheetrock business for 45 years and was a skilled tradesman. He lived a very simple life and never complained about anything. He enjoyed spending time with his grandsons and taking it easy.
David is survived by his son David Messer Jr. and wife, Ashley, Grandsons, Chase and Ethan, Sisters, Georgia Frost and Sandra Crump. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joan Messer; parents, David Garrett Messer, and Vera Chapman Messer; Sisters, Helen Anderson, and Carol Darnell.
Memorial Donations may be made to Levine and Dickson Hospice House in Huntersville, NC.
Arrangements will be held private by the family.
