Pittsburgh, PA- Dawn Marie Mercurio, age 53, peacefully passed away on June 21, 2023, at her home with her husband and children by her side. Beloved wife of Larry Mercurio, Loving mother of Larry Mercurio, Taylor (Tim) Jaczesko, and Alexis (Daniel) Riley. Lolli to Colton Riley and Ryder Jaczesko. Daughter of the late James Crawley and Caroline (Greco) Crawley. Dawn will be sadly missed by numerous sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She faithfully served as a Sergeant with the Pittsburgh Police Bureau.
To know her was to love her. Dawn selflessly loved everyone around her. Her smile lit up the room and she was adored by every person she came in contact with. Dawn and Larry spent 41 years together as middle school sweethearts. She spent her last months of life with a smile ear to ear, playing with her grandbabies and spending precious time with her loving husband and children. While Dawn will be incredibly missed, we know for a fact she is in heaven worshiping Jesus face to face.
"He will wipe every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these things are gone forever." - Revelation 21:4

My lifelong friend, full of beauty inside and out. No words can ever express the impact you have made in a positive way to so many. You were happiness, love, empathy, compassion, kind, ambitious, strong, beautiful, just everything good was you! You are one of a kind and I will forever miss you. Your family is your world and Larry is your everything. I know you will forever be with them. You were an Angel here on earth, now an Angel in heaven. Rest comfortably my friend in GOD´s LOVING arms. Until we meet again, spread your wings in peace. I love you

Dawn, you left this world too early and it was a better place with you in it. I pray your family finds peace and comfort. Your beauty shined both in and out and I am so grateful for all the beautiful memories that I have in my heart. Especially the times we shared together with little Larry and Daniel. I love you very much and I know you´re an angel in heaven watching over everybody. Your friend Roxann Giancola.
