Donald Ray "Little Donnie" Barton Jr.

Donald Ray Barton Jr. was born October 25, 1971, in Washington County, Missouri to Donald Ray Sr. and Pricilla (Wallace) Barton. He was known as Little Donnie and grew up in Boss, Missouri. Little Donnie attended Iron County C-4 School in Viburnum.
Little Donnie worked as a boiler maker with the Local 27 Boilermakers in St. Louis, Missouri. He later did carpentry work with Nat Bleything and Crew out of Courtois, Missouri. Little Donnie was a dedicated worker and enjoyed working outdoors.
Little Donnie was an avid outdoorsman. He loved spending time in the woods hunting and fishing at his dad's pond. Little Donnie was fiercely loyal to his family and loved spending time with them. He was a devoted friend, enjoyed hanging out with them, and considered them like family.
Little Donnie passed away March 27, 2023, at the age of fifty-one years. Those left behind to cherish his memory, his loving parents: Donald "Big Donnie" Barton Sr. of Boss, MO and Pricilla Barton of Rolla, MO; siblings: Linda Mahurin and husband Keith of Salem, MO, Mackenzie Barton of Minnesota, and Donavon Barton of Boss, MO; stepbrother: Billy King; nieces and nephews: Cassey Jackson, Ashley Stewart, Keith Mahurin Jr., Alicha Wisdom and Nolan Lerfald; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and friends.
Preceding him in death his stepmother: Patti King; and grandparents: Milton and Beulah Barton and Walter and Gertrude Wallace.
Little Donnie will be forever missed by those who loved him most. Little Donnie's family would like to give a special thanks to Aunt Jenny for always being there when he needed her. They would also like to thank Nat Bleything and Danny Bobbitt for their talented work in making the casket.
Funeral Services for Donald "Little Donnie" Ray Barton Jr. were held Monday, April 3, 2023 in the Wilson Mortuary Viburnum Chapel with Pastor Paul Davis and Pastor Bill Mathes officiating. Song selections played were "Amazing Grace" and "Go Rest High On That Mountain". Serving as Pallbearers were Donavon Barton, Billy King, Scotty Brooks, Stevie McBurnett, Danny Bobbitt, and Jasen Hedrick. Honorary Pallbearers were Keith Mahurin, Shorty Henson, Nathan Copeland, and B. M. Burial was in the Barton Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Wilson Mortuary of Viburnum, Missouri.
