Drew O. Wilkinson

Drew Owen Potter Wilkinson "Kip" was born in Santa Ana, CA on May 15, 1958 to John & Randine (Jacobson) Wilkinson. Drew passed away (not from Covid) on January 22, 2022 in St. Cloud surrounded by family. He was 63 years old. After graduating Sartell High School, he entered the Navy, serving as a Journalist on a Destroyer out of San Diego. After his service, he attended the Merchant Marine Academy and worked on tow boats up and down the Mississippi River. Drew had an exceptionally analytical mind and a true gift for writing. He used these gifts to write and speak in defense of the traditional American values of freedom, limited government, and individual liberty. Kip was an avid golfer and canoeist. He loved the outdoors as well as his 4 legged companions. He maintained a wonderful flower garden.
Drew was the fourth child in a large family. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Randine; and brothers, Anthony and Blake. He is survived by his brothers, Colin (Jill), Eric, Forrest, and Gavin (Karlyn); and sister, Heidi. Kip was a true force of nature and is greatly missed. There will be a celebration of his life at the family home in the spring.
