Edith Allen Obituary

Born in Waverly Hall, GA, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Freddie Jewel Storey Armstrong.
Edith was a member of Lee Road United Methodist Church, in Taylors. As a wife, mother and grandmother, Edith was very devoted to her family.
She is survived by four children, Chris Allen (Martha), Susan Hunnicutt (Larry), Nancy Newsome (Linwood), and Paul Allen (Marisa); ten grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Henry Armstrong, Jr. and a great-grandson.
A graveside service will be held on January 13, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. in Graceland East Memorial Park.
In particular, the family would like to thank Mason Tate and Complete Home Care for their kind support and loving care of Edith.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lee Road United Methodist Church or to the charity of one's choice.
