Eloise, Ellie, (Johnson) Larson, 89, passed peacefully from this life on April 5th at Credo Senior Living Center in Belleville, Ks.   She was born on December 16, 1933, to William H. and Hazel (Mansfield) Johnson in Cloud County Kansas. She graduated from Concordia High School in 1951.  She trained as a nursing assistant and worked at the medical clinic of Drs. Doubek, Chaney and Holt for over 30 years.  She was always very passionate about the care she gave her patients.

On October 18, 1952 Eloise married Verl S. Larson in Salina, Kansas. They had one daughter, Jean Ann. Verl and Eloise were married 63 years before Verl’s death in 2015. They also hosted several exchange students, including Edelmiro Trevino, from Monterrey Mexico. She spent all of her adult life living in Belleville and she was a member of the American Lutheran Church.

Eloise will be forever remembered by her daughter, Jean Ann Larson and her husband Robert Jaramillo of Birmingham Alabama, granddaughters Danielle Hoin (Andrew) of Auburn Hills, Michigan, and Natalie Larson-Jaramillo of Torrevieja, Spain.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 10, 2023 at 2:00 pm at the American Lutheran Church of Belleville. Visitation will be from noon until service time also at the church. Burial will be in the Belleville City Cemetery.

Memorials in honor of Eloise may be made to the American Lutheran Church of Belleville.
