Emily Elizabeth Vincent, 36, of Paden City, WV, left this world peacefully August 5, 2024, at J. W. Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV after a four-month illness.
She was born February 8, 1988, in Wheeling, WV, to David and Julie (McGivern) Vincent.
She was a 2006 graduate of Paden City High School, and attended West Liberty State College. She loved to fish, she loved animals, she loved watching crime investigation shows, and she loved jewelry - especially pearls. She was a Christian by faith.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by a brother, Adam (Amanda) Vincent; a niece, Andrea Vincent; an aunt, Jill (John) Damm; cousins - Alissa, Shauna, Nathan, Andrew, Megan, Kieran, and Taryn; a special "Uncle", Tom Wright; and her beloved kitty, Louie.
She was greeted in Heaven by her grandparents, Paul & Peg McGivern, and Stergel & Zella Vincent; and an aunt, Sandra Prather-Best.
Emily left a Legacy by giving the Gift of Life to several people. She was an Organ Donor – Are you? Her family is thankful for the excellent care she received from the doctors, nurses, and other staff in CVICU at Ruby.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to The Rosenbaum Family House, 30 Family House Dr., Morgantown, WV or to Living Water Baptist Church Legacy Fund, P.O. Box 68 Sardis, OH 45946
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, Sept. 1, at Living Water Baptist Church, 37453 5th Ave Sardis, OH. Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. with the service immediately following.
