Obituary of Esther L. (Zack) Dzuricsko

Of North Versailles, age 94, died peacefully with her family at her side on Sunday, May 31, 2020. Including her date of death, May 31 was a significant date in her life. It was also the same date, May 31, that she and her husband Joseph were married in 1947. And it is the same date, May 31, that Joe died in 1981.

Esther is survived by her loving daughters, Doreen (Jack) Luniewski of North Versailles and Diane (Bob) Tomasic of North Braddock.

She was the treasured grandmother of Nicole (Brian) Maciejewski, Ernest (Joan) Tomasic and Deborah Hershey.

Esther is also survived by her great-grandchildren Alexandra and Marrisa Maciejewski, Chase and Karra Tomasic and Cory Hershey, and her great-great-grandchildren, T. J., Gabe and Madison.

Dear sister of Ruth (late Buzz) Cassidy with whom she resided.

Esther was preceded in death by her 5 brothers, Leonard (surviving spouse, Irene) Zack, John (late Sally) Zack, Donald (late Janet) Zack, Richard Zack and Raymond (surviving spouse, Joanne) Zak.

Esther was known as the assistant to her daughter, Diane, in the North Braddock Tax Collector's Office.

Friends are welcome on Wednesday from 2-4 & 6-8pm at Patrick T. Lanigan Funeral Home and Crematory Inc; Turtle Creek / Monroeville Chapel, 1111 Monroeville Ave. at James St., Turtle Creek 412-823-9350.

Mass of Christian Burial in St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Mary Mother of God Parish on Thursday at 10 AM.

Esther will be laid to rest in Penn Lincoln Cemetery.
