Frances was born on September 17, 1946 to Elmer and Lavern Ferry in Fort Worth, Texas. She was the fourth of five children. She attended Maypearl High School where she, at her small stature of five foot, was a pistol on the basketball court.
In 1963, Frances married H.B. “Buddy” Yarbro in Itasca, Texas. They had three children, Tony, Wade, and Belinda. Frances was a homemaker first, but also held various jobs over the years from sewing to banking. One of her favorite jobs was working at the Cowpasture Bank in Rio Vista, Texas.
In 2005, she retired and spent her time with Buddy, her children and grandchildren. Anyone who knew her, knew she loved her family and her church. She attended Chisholm Trail Church in Rio Vista, Texas, where she was known to all as “Nanny.” She loved big and just wanted to make everyone that she came across feel special and even more, she wanted them to know Jesus Christ as their Savior.
