George Brush Obituary

George was born in Goshen, New York to Clarence and Loretta Brush on February 20, 1940.
Living in Monroe, New York he was employed by Monroe Tube Company and then Orange and Rockland Utilities. Moving to St Petersburg Florida in 1969 he then was employed with General Telephone Company. Retired in after 30 years of service.
George is survived by his wife Martha Marie Brush, longtime partner Joe K Wood and sister Elaine R Brush all residing in Ocala Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Clarence Brush Jr.
George was a very generous, caring and hardworking man. Always wanting to help others and didn't want to do something unless he could do it right. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends. George was a member of the Joy Lutheran Church in Ocala and also a long-time member of the New Pretenders group in On Top of the World, Ocala where he resided.
